It can be hard to stay motivated even when you don’t want to or you don’t have the momentum to keep going right? Well I’m here to share with you how to stay motivated in your business and life!
Defined your Goal
Defining your end goal will provide you with the motivation you need to keep ongoing. When you really want something you will work hard to get it, yes this sounds like it would come easy because you want it, but self-doubt may kick in, and becoming overwhelmed.
Set Smaller Goals
When you create smaller goals it makes it easier to obtain these and you begin to feel excited about achieving the overall goal. Making smaller goals motivates you to achieve the next step. After achieving those steps you won’t even realize how fast you can achieve the overall goal.
What is it that you are wanting to achieve overall?
understanding what you want to achieve overall is also important to digest. When I want to achieve a goal such as curating a blog post (like this one) I like to plan the date for the post, the message I want to give in the blog post, images to be used and so forth.
Use an Organizer
I love to use my planner to plan thinks out for my blog and social channels, this helps me see when things are due and a timeframe that I have to get there stuff done. Life can get crazy, ideas pop in my head all the time and I like to right it down in my open notes portion of my planner. I also keep my planner with me all the time and add all my to-do list for the day here.
Set a Schedule and Execute
Setting a schedule will keep yourself accountable in achieving your goals. You will have set time and date to work on particular aspects of your goal and will need to designate that time for JUST that!
Seek for motivation don’t wait for it to appear!
Lastly, don’t just sit around and wait for the motivation to appear. Create a mood board if you need to but get up and find the inspiration, don’t expect for it to literally slap you in the face. You have to seek it!
