Let’s put in the work for the life that we want. I’ve always had a huge work ethic but never really knew what I wanted to do!
Fun-Fact: I actually changed my major 3 times in college until I finally found what was perfect for me.

When I started my blog it was as a passion project to get me through the transitions of changing my major, but also to help with life’s changes at the time. I found my outlet that made me feel good right here, and till this day it is still the outlet that I can call my own but has now transitioned into a thriving business I can call my own.

Right now I take care of all aspects of my blogging business and sometimes that can be a challenge, but rewarding.
As a black women raising a son and building a business, I have always told myself that I would be the one to break generational curses. I never want to be stuck at a job that I have no passion for and just clocking in to get a paycheck and clock out. I have always wanted to be able to do some thing I love and more. The past 5 years. I felt like i was stuck at a job like that, but have moved on the bigger and better while trusting God. Don’t let your fear keep you in a stagnate place, you owe it to yourself to be happy reach the stars and do what you want.
Finding my passion (my blog) that has lead to a thriving business has been one of the best things that has happened to me, but it didn’t come without putting in the work to get here. There may be times when I find myself up at 2am working on content or waking up early to get a head start. Don’t let that scare you though when it’s something you love you do it without noticing, it’s all about balance.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life,” -Confucius
So if you are finding yourself stuck, or not knowing where to go from here, take a step back and really focus on what it is that you love? Once you find out what it is that you love, figure out a way you can grow and make this into a business or begin to make an income from. All it takes is a little time to focus and understand your craft, find your audience and you too can be living within your purpose and be happy doing it.
