Let’s get back to business, business casual that is. I recently did a post on my shopping tips and now let’s tackle the big question for my friends in the corporate world. “What to wear in the corporate office?”
Wheither you are going to an office space or home office when it comes to getting dressed for the work place there’s one place I love to shop for all my work pants, Old Navy and H&M. Old navy offers a great selection of work pants in many different styles , colors and patterns.
One of my favorite styles is the pixie ankle pants, they are a mid rise pant with a descent amount of stretch to them. I have a few pairs, I have a pair of black pixie ankle pants and navy blue pants. My other favorite pair like I stated before are from H&M and they are the pink ones I am wearing here. H&M also has great pants for the workplace and again you can also find me that great deals from H&M I have a pair of striped ones and a pair of pink ones that you see in these photos today.
Now you may have noticed that I did state this is also a great look for if you work at home. Many may think that getting dressed for an at home job is not necessary but here is why I think it is.
- Boost in productivity- Getting dressed in the morning boost your productivity for the day. Knowing that you’re getting dressed to get work done gives you just a little bit more motivation to actually get the work done.
- Look food feel food- This kind of goes hand-in-hand with the boost and productivity when you look good you feel good when you look good you’re getting more things done then when you’re just moping around the house in sweatpants. (Or at least for me it does.)
- Be presentable- I don’t know about y’all but I frequently have packages coming to my home and some of them I have to sign for. Knowing that I can just get up from my desk or from doing work to answer the door and get the packages that I need and looking presentable at the door gives me just that much more confidence.
See this post for these pants as well 💗
