The end of the year is coming FAST and I wanted to create a post for all of my goals for 2018 and what better way to do that than with a vision board. I originally wanted to create a vision board online, but I’m a hands on type of girl and wanted to cut pieces out of the magazines and all that fancy stuff! A vision board online also would mean my board would be small and I wouldn’t be able to put everything on it that I wanted. So these are just a few reasons I didn’t create a vision board online and why I chose to create one myself.
One of my biggest goals this year is to not play around and actually loose weight! This has been one of the areas in my life I have struggled with because of my hectic schedule. The honest truth is , I wasn’t making time for it and for the last couple of weeks I have made time and feel so much better about my self for it! I did’nt want to start working out on the 1st just because it was the New Year, but I thought better yet let it be a routine that is already in place for 2018.
I started following a fellow blogger who talks a lot about fitness, if you aren’t following A Southern Drawl you should. Grace, who owns this blog, creates her own work outs and is nice enough to write about them and post them. So, what I do is follow her workout she does for the week and modify where needed. I love this because it keeps me grounded and I know what I am going to do when I get to the gym.
I created a vision board because I wanted to reflect everything I want to do and accomplish for the New Year. Some of my favorites are ( of course) road to Mrs. Small. If you didn’t know Jimmie and I recently got engaged (last week to be exact! yayyyyy) and we are still in the processes of finding the perfect date to tie the knot!
My vision board is a work in progress, and can’t wait for it to be complete. One of my goals this year is to be confident, I always have so many ideas that I come up with but never feel confident enough in my ability to achieve them. In addition, to being confident I want to be present, more social and get out if the shell I have always been accustomed too. With these two everything else should fall into place.
I hope that you all enjoy my brief and slightly uncompleted vision board for 2018. What are your aspirations for 2018?!
