Jimmie and I stayed at Yotel times square which is located 3 blocks from times square. We stayed there for 2 nights, it was exciting because it was Jimmies first time going. We went to NYC because I was invited to attend College Fashion Week! It was a blast and a great way to spend the weekend away. It was so funny, the night we got here we wanted to go ahead and take a walk in times square, it was about 1:30am by the time we went for the walk, Jimmie would say “what in the world is going on here” or “why are all these lights on at this time”. ahahahah I had to keep reminding him we are in the city that never sleeps and is very fast pace. I will be creating a blog post on what we did and where we ate each day!
Yotel times square is a very Retro/ Modern Hotel that is located on 42nd st & 10th ave. It is the perfect location because it is right in the middle of times square and Hudson River. Another convenient aspect of the hotel is that it about 5 min walk to the subway line “R” this is the only subway line Jimmie and I took because it ran right into the places that we needed.
The hotel has many different features, and some of my favorites were the Expresso bar connected to the terrace area, bar and restaurant. The coffee bar has snacks along with light pastries that go great with their Vanilla latte. Check in and Check out was so convenient, there is a kiosk that you can use to do both. If you wanted to you could also go to the normal counter. The Hotel feature many unique pieces to it that made the feels very comfortable.
Next, the rooms or [cabins] ! When you come to New York you should already expect for your hotel room to be a little smaller than normal [unless you are paying those BIG BIG bucks]. Yotel provides each of the cabins with a smart bed, this definitely helps you save room but also is great for when you just want to sit up in bed instead of laying down hahaha [I like to do this often].
Thank you for stopping by today, Make sure to come back Thursday for some more outfit posts!
