We are into the second week of the new year, and I couldn’t be anymore excited to say that this year last week has been so good so far. And now it is time to talk about #Goals.
Why set goals?
Setting goals allows you to see yourself inching towards the bigger and better picture, being able to write down and know what is you are going for helps with the process of reaching the goal.
What type of goals to set?
Big or small goals can be set, the over all “goal” is that you are trying to reach it, and the only point that matters is that you achieve it.
Last year, I completed this same strategy in 2015 to prepare for 2016. I achieved 3 out of 5 goals that I created for myself, this was exciting for me because I have never been able to stay hit this many goals. So this was especially exciting for me to hit. The only goal that I really wanted to hit was, losing weight, this is particularly hard for me because not only did I not hit this goal but I did the complete opposite, I GAINED weight. School and working 50+ hrs a week was hard and stressful time for me. I kept telling myself I can do it, but the light at the end of the tunnel became smaller and smaller for me.
This year I will not be defeated, I can’t be defeated!
If anyone knows of a great meal prepping techniques please let me know, I don’t think I can keep scrolling through Pinterest any longer (I get slightly distracted by all the cute fall/winter attire).
